About the Owner:

Dale Burley, the owner of BURLEY OUTDOORS, LLC is an avid sportsman and outdoorsman.  He has been involved in wildlife/land management throughout his entire life.  One of the benefits of growing up on a 1200 acre family farm in South Georgia was having the opportunity to be apart of the great outdoors.  The daily routine of growing up on a farm was a lot of work with little play.  Farming was hard work which involved plowing, planting, harvesting, and finally hunting only when all the work was done.  This way of life has taught him the importance of total land management and wildlife conservation. Each goes hand in hand and is dependent upon the other for survival.   

Dale along with his brother, Blaine Burley, inventor of the Plotmaster, grew up farming, hunting, and fishing.  “Growing up as young boys, we learned the importance of managing and preserving all of our natural resources – including the land, timber, and wildlife on our family properties.”  During the late 90’s, Dale was instrumental in designing, field testing, and marketing the Plotmaster.

In 1993, Dale graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.  Between 1993 and 2002, Dale worked as property manager and/or hunting/fishing guide on numerous plantation/hunting properties in Georgia and throughout the southeast.  In 2002, Dale founded BURLEY OUTDOORS, LLC and became the Southeast Distributor for the Plotmaster and Tecomate Seed.  In 2003, Dale became a licensed Real Estate Agent for the state of Georgia and began marketing hunting, recreation, and investment properties.     

Through many years of trial and error, Dale has learned the latest innovative wildlife/land management techniques.  These tested methods over time have proven to be very successful in developing and enhancing the wildlife and natural resources on the various properties that he has helped to develop and manage over the years.

Today, Dale continues to be driven by the same desire and deep passion for the preservation and conservation for our great outdoors.  Dale is a member/sponsor of Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA),  the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF), and the National Rifle Association of America (NRA).  Dale firmly believes in supporting wildlife conservation and passing our hunting heritage to our youth.  He continues to practice these proven methods, while constantly developing new techniques on each property that BURLEY OUTDOORS, LLC incorporates.
